Volunteer Corps Opportunities
Join the Music by the Lake Volunteer Corps, a vital community outreach of our unique lakeside campus. Volunteer participation is invaluable in helping our guests safely experience a premier musical event in an outdoor, lakeside setting.
Volunteers are the secret to our success at Music by the Lake They serve as ushers and greeters for patrons and work with a dedicated team for this premier summer music festival. Join us to experience outstanding musical performances!Volunteer requirements:
Must be more than 18 years old.Able to walk and stand in hilly terrain for a minimum of two hours.
Attend a two hour training session on a Saturday morning in June.
Arrive on campus two hours before each performance for briefing and placement.
Sign a hold harmless agreement.
Volunteer duties include:
Ushers/Ticket Takers — Working in an outdoor setting, cheerfully collect tickets, distribute programs, and assist in directing guests to the appropriate seating and lawn areas.Greeters — Cheerfully welcome and assist concert-goers by warmly greeting, answering questions and giving directions. Watch for anyone needing assistance and ensure concert-goers keep roadways clear and away from the fronts and backs of the carts, buses and vans. Your services will be needed at the shuttle drop-off and in the Circle Drive on campus before and after the concert. Special assistance greeters are needed in transportation areas.
Volunteers will be selected and assigned according to the volunteer's request and Music by the Lake need. Please provide an email address and preferred work dates and times.
