Music by the Lake welcomes award-winning superstar Laurie Berkner to her first performance at The Ferro Pavilion. After beginning her career as a member of the all-female cover band, Lois Lane and later in Red Onion, Berkner began adding children’s performances to her repertoire. She soon released the popular CD, “Whaddya Think of That?” and followed it with a set of songs titled “Buzz Buzz.” Her next project, “Victor Vito,” became a huge success, leading to her first national TV appearance on the FX channel’s “American Baby Show” as well as a Parent’s Guide to Children’s Media Award and two Children’s Music Web Awards. Berkner strikes a chord with kids 1–8 and their parents in songs employing many different styles, rhythms and musical techniques. Her natural talent and joy of music-making inspires kids to pick up an instrument or sing with style. Bring a stuffed animal, and get ready for fun and frolic. Berkner’s infectious performance is not to be missed!
