The quintet that took brass playing to unprecedented heights, reaching music lovers throughout the world with crowd-pleasing arrangements, will bring the audience to its feet during this special Sunday at 4 Concert! As an article in “The Washington Post” revealed: “These are the men who put brass music on the map: with their unbeatable blend of virtuosity, spontaneity and humor, they brighten the rosters of concert halls, international festivals and orchestra series throughout the world.” The Canadian Brass transformed a previously neglected group of instruments with a limited repertoire into a vital ensemble that can play everything from Gabrielli to Gershwin! They have sold more than two million albums worldwide, and their newest CD, “Canadian Brass Takes Flight,” is currently nominated for a JUNO Award as Classical Album of the Year in the Solo or Chamber Ensemble category. The hallmark of any Canadian Brass performance is entertainment, spontaneity, virtuosity and most of all, fun. It’s truly an honor to welcome the one and only Canadian Brass.

This performance is generously underwritten by the Judith and John Graff Charitable Fund.
