Past Season Highlights

World-class performers, warm nights and cool breezes created a memorable tenth anniversary season of Music by the Lake. A varied group of performers continued the tradition of spectacular music on the shores of Geneva Lake.

This year's season included four Saturday evening Main Stage Series performances, the Sundays at 4 Series and the season finale Pritzker Spotlight Concert. Performers included:

• Brian Stokes Mitchell with Paul Gemignani and Members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra — Saturday, June 26
• Big Bad Voodoo Daddy — Saturday, July 10
• The John Jorgenson Quintet — Sunday, July 18
• "La Traviata" — Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25
• Frank Almond with William Wolfram — Sunday, August 1
• Ann Hampton Callaway with Jeff Lindberg's Chicago Jazz Orchestra — Saturday, August 7
• Peter Frampton — Saturday, August 14

Once again, audience members enjoyed a summer to remember on the shores of Geneva Lake as they listened to exceptional music in the picturesque lakeside setting.
